TEDxKNUST is an independently organized group of passionate KNUST students, alumni, and individuals dedicated to advancing TED‘s mission of Ideas Worth Spreading in the KNUST campus and community.
With the first TEDxKNUST event organized in 2012, TEDxKNUST has consistently brought inspiring individuals from all walks of life to share their stories and ideas on a global stage. This year’s organizing team is no less remarkable with 16 strong ambassadors, handling everything from managing logistics, and designing the experience, to figuring out our collateral needs.
Imagine Africa – what visions emerge? By 2050, a staggering one in four persons globally will call Africa home. Our continent boasts boundless potential but also faces unprecedented challenges across various fields in technology, education, health, etc.
Our theme, “Beyond Barriers: Shaping the Africa We Want,” sets the stage for diverse ideas to learn, unlearn, and break free from challenges that present barriers to our development. TEDxKNUST 2024 will bring together bright minds and innovators from the KNUST community and beyond, in thought-provoking discussions that will challenge the status quo and propel ideas to shape the future Africa we want.
